| All boys and girls who are at least 10 years old and attend Church and/or Sunday School regularly are welcome to participate in the Puppet Ministry. Kids will learn to manipulate puppets and perform in puppet shows as they are scheduled. | Sunday School |
| Sunday School classes are available for all ages, nursery through adult. We meet at 9:15 AM in the sanctuary for an opening session with Superintendent Ben Barton. We participate in songs and a short devotional during this time. The Sunday School also sponsors a few orphans through our Sunday School Offering. Classes begin in their respective locations at 9:30 AM and dismiss at 10:30 AM. Everyone is welcome to attend. |
| Children's Church/Toddler Church |
|
Children’s Church is for boys and girls, age 5 through grade 3. We meet just below the sanctuary during the sermon of the
morning worship service. During this
time we have songs, Bible lessons, missionary stories, and games to review
the lesson. This ministry gives
boys and girls a time to learn and worship at their own level.
Toddler Church meets in 2 groups, one for ages 2 - 3, and one for ages 4-5. We meet downstairs during the sermon of the morning worship service. During this time we have songs, Bible lessons, and games and activities. This time gives the children the freedom to learn and worship with their peers. |
| Mom's Group |
| The Mom's Group of Calvary Baptist Church is meeting twice a month (every other week) on Thursday mornings at 10 AM here at the church. (See website calendar for monthly activities scheduled.) The Mom's Group is a ministry to mothers of preschoolers and they meet together for times of fellowship, devotions, and refreshment. |
| Women's Missionary Fellowship |
| This missions-minded group was formed to encourage our missionaries with correspondence, prayer, and to assist them with projects as we become aware of them. Many of these projects include: lap robe quilting, sending care packages, making crocheted bookmarks, or writing letters and cards. The ladies also participate in a "Secret Sister" Exchange. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September to April (excluding December) at 7:00 PM downstairs in the church. All ladies are welcome to attend. |
| Adult Home Bible Study |
| The Adult Home Bible
Study focuses on Pastor Cook's sermon notes
from each Sunday morning worship service. The basis of this group is
to gain a deeper understanding of God's Word through discussion questions as well as through fellowship and prayer time.
All adults are welcome to study with this group. We meet Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in various homes. Please check the church's website calendar or the weekly church bulletin for locations. Feel free to contact Pastor Cook (603-542-9600) with any questions.
